		<description>hi jeanne . . .

we havn&#039;t met . . . and i will attempt to keep this communication brief.

by way of reference only . . . I am a neighbor to the south and east
about an hour or so from our dear departed friend david hamel . . .
and also am acquainted with your acquaintance robin boyd of Ottawa.

I finished reading &quot; the coming energy revolution &quot; last night again .
wow . . . hard to believe that was over 12 years ago now . . . and it&#039;s still coming . . .isn&#039;t it ?

or is it ? we&#039;re pretty jaded with funding and researching initiatives and mostly don&#039;t know where to turn anymore . . . we have a large farm with 10 buildings and ongoing education programs, and have
been tinkering in solar and hydrogen over years but seem no closer
to take that off-grid plunge which is a pretty serious financial com- mitment, not to mention other serious research projects.

can you fast track me . . . is there any research short cut to finding
out how far along everyone has come in recent years. I&#039;m encouraged by the above article, but we are still so unsure as to what technology to invest in . . . have you published any follow ups
or updates to &quot;the coming energy revolution&quot; that can help us in our narrowing our focus ?

It&#039;s so hard to know where to turn and where to commit to technologically . . . you can appreciate as farmers and entrepreneurs, we are talking up to a $100,000. investment and we don&#039;t want to bother the banks nor waste/lose. We want to &quot;do it right &quot; so to speak and create a real living example for people to see. I rather doubt at this stage of the game that its gonna come &#039;down the pipe&#039; from anywhere else and I&#039;&#039;m not sure we&#039;ll have a second chance to get it right.

would appreciate whatever direction you can turn me in . . . I know I
can continue study study study research research research but it seems to take years with the little time available, to get up to speed.

with thanks . . .
